Hi, I'm Roger. I taught English in China for 3 years. Now I use scissors and paste to make pages like this one. I _like_ that people can share their ideas and tips about teaching English. _Do better?_ Simplify: participating in Teflpedia should be as easy as this Feedback form... no thinking! :-) Roger (talk) 14:41, 10 April 2013 (CDT)

I have spent lots of my time looking for a website such as this valuable Teflpedia. I really like academic research especially in English and Business as they are my preferred scope in my life. I have a bachelor degree in BA and I'm still poor to lots of things. So, I'm here to reinforce what I have learnt in my studies and my work life. I worked for about three companies and this is the fourth. So, I want to share my ideas and attribute with you in this lovely and marvelous website. Lots of thanks to the sponsor and management of Teflpedia. --Knowledge lover (talk) 03:21, 12 July 2013 (CDT)

I'm glad you like us!--Bob M (talk) 05:31, 28 October 2013 (CDT)

Feedback

I love Teflpedia because the questions are not patronising and are written by adults for adults. I can add mine (and have added mine) and feel I have made a small and anonymous contribution to English as a foreign language teaching.

I teach in Wroclaw in Poland and teach in the Business to Business environment. My parents are Italian (near Salerno) but I was born and brought up in Luton, (GB). EVERYONE, keep up the good work. FrancoThis unsigned comment was made by Luton otter

Thanks for that and thanks for your contribution.--Bob M (talk) 05:30, 28 October 2013 (CDT)

Hello!

I am an educator and work for UtahFutures.org. We are putting together critical questions and conversations starters for curriculum for our students. There are great questions relating to this on your page, http://teflpedia.com/Employment_conversation_questions. I am asking permission to use a few of those questions in our material. We will of course give you credit.

Thank you,

Moved to Talk:Decoding exercises: "ea".

Hi Bob - what a great wiki you have. I'm not an English teacher and don't feel it appropriate for me to do any editing, because I don't know the correct orthography or context, so if this is of use you could assign it out or update it yourself.

IPA

Hi.I'm an English teacher of a middle school in China. IPA is really a difficult step for English learning. I'm so so happy so see this site, and it really helps a lot..Thank you so much!!

I've learned a lot. I think, tomorrow I will give my students a good lesson!

My name's Li Syao.

I'm glad our IPA lessons have been useful to you. IPA is a neglected area of English teaching, and it really clarifies pronunciations. Regards, Ghoti (talk) 12:58, 29 February 2016 (UTC)

"Save page" button

Hi I have just signed up on this site and I am looking at the sport conversation questions that i would like to use. It says to use the save button at the bottom of the page, but there isnt one at the bottom of the page. Have I missed something?

Best wishes

Heather Collier

Hi.

In all conversation questions (e.g. Sport conversation questions) there is a message that says

To add new questions to this page:

  1. click the edit tab above
  2. type your question into the appropriate section preceded by an asterisk
  3. click the Save page button at the bottom of the page

If you don't want to add new questions just do whatever you want; to print you can go to "Printable version" at the left. Ghoti (talk) 23:17, 26 May 2016 (UTC)

I like particularly the section on letter decoding (Decoding a, e, i, o, u) because it helped me make sense of how one same vowel is pronounced in various ways. It saved me a lot of time in class preparation. My sincere thanks.
