Hyperlink Charts[edit]

It may be helpful to import the phoneme charts from WP (here and here) modified to include only those used in English. This could be helpful for navigating the various existing pages for IPA symbols. Ethan (talk) 23:42, 1 March 2013 (CST)

Better yet, these charts.:--Ethan (talk) 00:46, 2 March 2013 (CST)
Hi Ethan. I'm not quite sure what you are suggesting. We have phonetic symbols described individually. So ... you are suggesting that we partially replace the existing TP page with the WP one and then hyperlink from that to our articles? We could do this as we have compatible copyright policies. It might take quite a bit of editing though.--Bob M (talk) 04:45, 2 March 2013 (CST)
Not to replace the whole page, just insert some charts with hyperlinks. I went ahead and built one for consonants using the existing consonant pages in the sandbox. BTW, it looks like we've got the wrong symbol for theta, /ɵ/ instead of /θ/ --Ethan (talk) 11:49, 2 March 2013 (CST)
Actually that looks like quite a good idea. If we've got something wrong then plese be bold and change it. :-)--Bob M (talk) 13:45, 2 March 2013 (CST)
