Integer

From Teflpedia
(Redirected from Whole number)

An integer or whole number is a number broadly defined as a number that can be written without a fractional component. For example, 21, 4, 0, and −2048 are integers.[1]

Integers are typically easier to understand and represent to humans than non-integers, which sees their use in test statistics.

Natural numbers are a subset of integers.
