Vowel phonogram

From Teflpedia

A vowel phonogram is a phonogram representing a vowel sound.

By length, these may be vowel monographs, vowel digraphs, vowel trigraphs or vowel tetragraphs, though this isn’t always the best way to separate them.

Most vowel phonograms begin with a vowel letter. Consonant letters L, R, can be used to represent after the vowel. S, T, W, Z, plus the combination GH can occur within vowel phonograms, and exert influence on the sound of the vowel. As a result of these, it’s possible for the consonant phonemes /l/, /r/ to appear in vowel phonograms. Two, ⟨le⟩ and ⟨re⟩, begin with a consonant letter, but their pronunciations start with a vowel sound.

I know this is a bit confusing; the best thing to do is to look at category:vowel phonograms.
