Hi Nx. I'm afraid that you'll be initially constrained by Trent's vandal break.  :-( --Bob M 15:33, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your help on the templates. Much appreciated.--Bob M 16:47, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
You're welcome. Nx 16:56, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for helping out when my wiki-knowledge starts to run a bit thin.--Bob M 16:06, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
Rag Top's on RW: (Linda I think?). Australian female sailing enthusiast. Toast 21:44, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Lynne, actually, but well remembered.RagTop 22:57, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, Lynne, always had a problem with names. Toast 22:59, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks, I'm going to check thoroughly before the export anyway, this is just so I don't forget stuff I already know :) Nx 07:46, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Proxima[edit]

I think slowly removing stuff so that she doesn't notice is the best route. We have made a small amount of progress, like fixing the dates. Phantom Hoover 08:19, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

No. Someone will listen. We cannot let her remain there. Nx 08:31, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
But until someone turns up? Anyway, she's reprotected the page. Oh, do you know who Epsilon is? Phantom Hoover 08:40, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
Oooh, a block. But I wasn't encouraging the vandal, merely giving them formatting tips! Phantom Hoover 09:03, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Wikiindex[edit]

You've been unblocked. Phantom Hoover 07:29, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Woo hoo! Human 07:52, 26 August 2009 (UTC) - Wait, what about you, oh magical vacuum cleaner? Human 07:53, 26 August 2009 (UTC) Yes, you too, apparently. Human 07:54, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

OK, I don't know how this happened, but I got edit buttons at the RW article, so I cleaned it up. But it was never unprotected, and I sure as hell was not sysopped. So, guys'n'gals, please go make sure what I wrote is accurate and clear and appropriate? Kthxbai :) Human 08:17, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Ah, I get it. PC's protection expired is all... Human 08:18, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

The Great Exodus[edit]

I thought that was going to RationalWikiWiki? Pi 03:15, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Me too. Why? Nx 05:50, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
We wrote it for ourselves as well. RWW is such a backwater nothing ever gets the mob treatment (ie, anyone noticing, lots of editing). Human 05:58, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
I'd say put in both places. Then edit it to be more sarcastic funny in RWW and more serious in RW.--Bob M 06:12, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
(from userpage) I thought that one was going to RationalWikiWiki?. Nx 05:56, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Naw, RW will post it as well. They can copy it, or you can port it to both sites. Human 05:58, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Technical questions[edit]

    • WIGO CP will need to be edited to have "real" voting added; will we keep the joke "vote" template in the wigos themselves?.
I will do that and I'll keep the fake votes in a comment at least, so we don't lose them. We can later decide what we want to do with them. Nx 06:01, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Cool. I think we should leave them in the WIGO itself. They are a part of our history, after all, and most are pretty funny. No need to use the "vote" template for them, though. Perhaps just put them in quotes? Human 06:40, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
We could add something like this in from of the wigo text: ([[The Great Exodus|fake vote]]:pi/2) Nx 06:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
    • If all edits are copied over, we're gonna get some weird archive problems.
Archives will not be copied over. They have no history, so we can just copypaste them into new archives on RationalWiki. Nx 06:01, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
OK, I'll trust you on this :) Human 06:40, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
