Hi James. I take it that you are also SBM?--Bob M 13:31, 26 February 2012 (CST)

Actually, thinking about it some more - if you are SBM it might be best if you moved that article to you user page so that you would have "ownership" of it. At the moment it could be edited or put up for deletion if somebody doesn't like it. Cheers.--Bob M 13:47, 26 February 2012 (CST)
I moved Special Brew Man to User:JamesAnderson, for James. We don't quite want self promotion happing in the encyclopedic namespace. --Roger 15:19, 26 February 2012 (CST)
It kind of depends how well-known the person is. We've got articles on some bloggers and teachers.--Bob M 15:31, 26 February 2012 (CST)
Self promotion usually fails that noteworthyness measure. --Roger 16:10, 26 February 2012 (CST)
Well, yes. But we don't actually have any formal "noteworthyness" measure. Perhaps we should discuss some guidelines? My inclination would be to be inclusive and allow anything related to English language teaching. If we see that attracts too much self-promotion we can re-visit it. What say everybody else? --Bob M 00:44, 27 February 2012 (CST)
