Upsilon
From Teflpedia
Upsilon is the 20th letter of the Greek alphabet. It is the sixth vowel letter.
The upper case form is a homoglyph with the letter Y, whilst its lower case form is a homoglyph with lower case u. Derived from upsilon are the Latin alphabet letters Y and V, from which in turn were derived U and W. There is also a Latin upsilon, as an extra Latin letter.
In IPA, a lower case /ʋ/ represents a labiodental approximant, which is not a standard sound of English, but found in some speakers’ accents.
