Uncountable noun
From Teflpedia
An uncountable noun is a noun lemma that lacks countability; it therefore cannot distinguish grammatical number by using numerals.
There are two types of uncountable nouns in English;
- Uncountable singulars, for example, furniture or information.
- Uncountable plurals, for example, clothes.
In pedagogical grammar, "uncountable noun" is often used as a synonym for mass noun.
