From Teflpedia

A time point adverbial is a time adverbial that indicates a time point. In English, these can be either (1) time point noun phrase adverbials or (2) time point prepositional phrase adverbials.

  1. Time point noun phrase adverbials are noun phrase adverbials, e.g. "last Tuesday", "next week", "this evening". If single words, they are deictic temporal pronouns, e.g. "today", "tonight", "tomorrow" and "yesterday". Note if single word phrases, these are traditionally analysed as adverbs.
  2. Time point prepositional phrase adverbials are prepositional phrase adverbials using a preposition of time with a time point noun phrase, e.g. "on Tuesday", "in ten minutes", "at the weekend".
