Scott Thornbury (/ˈskɒt ˈθɔ:(r)nbəri/) is a Kiwi English teacher, teacher trainer and author of numerous articles and books on English teaching, including An A-Z of ELT.
Perhaps his most controversial action was the creation of the Dogme movement which argues for materials-light teaching.
He is also an engaging speaker, and there are many interesting conference presentations/workshops on YouTube. He also maintains an active blog[1]
