The Minister’s Cat is a form of the memory chain parlour game that can be used with adjectives.
Players take it in turns to describe the cat using adjectives. Each player repeats the previous player’s description, adding an extra adjective, but the adjectives must be alphabetical. e.g.
- Player 1. “The Minister’s cat is an adorable cat"
- Player 2: “The Minister’s cat is an adorable, beautiful cat.”
- Player 3: “The Minister’s cat is an adorable, beautiful, cantankerous cat.”
- etc
It’s also typically played with the players having to clap along in rhythm.
