Teflpedia is subject to self-censorship in various ways that are mostly trivial; however these are worth documenting:
This is a counterpoint to "Wikipedia is not censored"; noting that Teflpedia:Teflpedia is not Wikipedia.
Legal censorship[edit source]
Teflpedia does not, and cannot, include:
- Material that is illegal in most Western jurisdictions. For example, images of child abuse.
- Material that is potentially libellous.
Moral censorship[edit source]
In addition, to the above Teflpedia does not include for moral reasons:
- Material that is morally abhorrent, for example, images of child abuse.
- Material that is not compatible with the content licence.
Out of scope[edit source]
Much material is out of Teflpedia:Scope.
However, Teflpedia may contain[edit source]
- EFL relevant discussions of taboo language and taboo words.
- Brief mentions of topics that are likely to be taboo.
