Lots of good ideas here. Thanks. Real activites for real teachers. I'm not sure about one of them though: "26. Mastermind - Played the same way as the Mastermind children’s game with words instead of colours." I hesitate to admit my lack of knowledge - but how do children play mastermind?--Bob M 08:39, 28 May 2009 (UTC)--Bob M 08:39, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Four in a row[edit]

I was about to include this edited line in the four in a row game when I realised I didn't understand it. Good for revision of phrasal verbs by using verbs along the horizontal axis and prepositions along vertical axis combined to make words in individual squares. Help?--Bob M 06:45, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Cut up[edit]

OK - I'm going to start cutting this up. I'm going to create a series of seperate articles called - "TEFl Games spelling", TEFL games competitions" or whatever and then link to those articles from this one. Any comments before I start? Also - Better ESl, TSL, ELT? I'm wondering which would be most recognised by search engines.--Bob M 10:07, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

I've done redirects for most variations of the theme EFL/TSL/ELT games (see yesterday's recent changes) but I'm sure there's an unlimited number... (a quick google gave me 500,000 for ESL games; 740,000 for EFL games and 1,250,000 for ELT games which is why I opted for the latter - in singular with redirects from plurals).--Technopat 10:45, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
