Talk:Mass noun

From Teflpedia

Greetings All - not sure 'bout the layout of the examples: advice an advice = a piece of advice/some advice

Maybe it would be better to give the same info as follows: advice = a piece of advice/some advice NOT an advice

Feedback, anyone? Cheers! --Technopat 17:09, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

I agree. The first time I read it I couldn't quite get my brain round it. The way you suggest above would probably be clearer. I'm also trying to remember which other nouns are only uncountable in English. Money? Data? (Though "data" is a funny one - singular "datum" anyone?) But I'm sure there is another common one, just can't remember it.--Bob M 17:17, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
