TOEFL

From Teflpedia

TOEFL is the acronym for Test of English as a Foreign Language.[1] The test is used to determine a non-English speaker’s ability to understand and speak English, and is often used by North American universities and colleges when considering admission of non-native speaker students.

TOEFL scores are also used by many government agencies, scholarship programmes, and licensing/certification agencies to evaluate English proficiency.

Examples of the TOEFL questions can be found at the Exam English website. TOEFL podcasts[2] may also be obtained over the internet.
