Social discrimination
From Teflpedia
(Social) discrimination (/dɪskrɪmɪneɪʃən/) is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex. It unfortunately exists within the TEFL industry.
Discrimination, or some of it forms, may be illegal in some jurisdictions. In others, particularly where a teacher needs a work visa, based on being a citizen of certain countries, and being under a certain age, it is effectively legally promoted.
