Size (/ˈsaɪz/) is "the dimensions or magnitude of a thing; how big something is"[1][2]

In English size may be expressed using

  • size adjectives (e.g. big, huge, small, tiny, etc.)
  • quantifier + units (e.g. 80 lb)

Physical size may be split into one dimension of weight and three of space, i.e. depth, height and width, plus area, circumference and volume. Certain shapes may have particular properties, e.g. diameter

Size adjectives have their own place within adjective order.
