Pop-up grammar

From Teflpedia

Pop-up grammar is a pop-up explanation consisting of very short explanations of grammar given by a teacher, typically less than 5 seconds long, where the grammar point isn't the main focus of the lesson, but will be of interest/utility to at least some students. The points are short enough that students won't lose attention if they are not interested or don't really understand very well.[1]

Often featured as a key point of TPRS, but relevant other times as well.
