From Teflpedia

The zero plural suffix is a plural suffix that is a zero suffix.

This is suffixed to singular nouns to make invariant plurals in some, though not all, grammar analyses of English. For example, one deer, two deer or one sheep, two sheep. In linguistic notation, the plural may be written using the null sign, e.g. deer∅, fish∅ and sheep∅.
