From Teflpedia

A past participial adverb is an adverb that is derived from a past participle by adding the morpheme -ly. It is related to a past participial adjective.

Past participial adverbs based on regular verbs end in -edly, for example, markedly. Those based on irregular lexical verbs often end -enly instead, such as (un)mistakenly, misshapenly, unforbiddenly etc.
