Participial adverb

A participial adverb (/ˈpɑ:(r)tɪsɪpɪəl ˈadvɜ:(r)b/) is an adverb based on a participle, and related to a participial adjective. In English, as there are two types or participle, there are two types of participial adverb; a present participial adverb and a past participial adverb, as shown in the table below:
