Morphological inflection

From Teflpedia

Morphological inflection is a change in the form of a word (typically, the ending) to express a grammatical function or attribute such as inflected tense, grammatical mood, grammatical person, grammatical number, grammatical case, and grammatical gender.

Inflection of nouns is called declension; inflection of verbs is called conjugation.

English is generally a lightly-inflected language, but there is some inflection.
