An adverb of manner is an adverb that expresses manner, i.e. how something happens or is done.


Manner adverbs normally go in the end position, i.e. at the end of a clause.[1]

Typical adverbs of manner include badly, fast, happily, nicely, slowly, suddenly, etc.
