The stroke order is either a U-like Y:
- Down and round from the middle
- Back up to the midline
- Back down with a tail
Or a V-like Y:
- Straight diagonally down from the middle
- Straight back diagonally down from the middle, intersecting the first stroke at the baseline
- Continue stroke 2 as a tail.
