Little
From Teflpedia
Little is an English adjective with two meanings; “small" and "not much.”
With the meaning “small,” little is a gradable, regular adjective with the comparative form "littler" and the superlative form "littlest.” The adverb form "littly" is very rare.
With the meaning "not much,” generally used as a quantifier, "little" is more unusual. It can only be applied to singular nouns, for plural nouns we should use “few” instead. This is also true of its antonym much. “Little" also is an irregular adjective with irregular gradative forms - the comparative being "less" and the superlative "least.”
