Lexical set
From Teflpedia
A lexical set (/leksɪkəl set/) is a is a group of words with the same topic, function or form.[1]
Different types of lexical sets include:
- Phonetic sets - similar sounds
- Semantic sets - similar meaning
- Thematic sets - similar theme
Note that the Wikipedia article is incorrect as it only describes phonetic sets[2], and completely ignores other types of sets.
