Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Ludwig Dodgson (1832 – 1898) an author.[1]

He is best known as the author of Alice in Wonderland and its sequel Alice through the Looking Glass. He is also known for nonsense poems Jabberwocky.

Dodgson was born in Cheshire, England in 1893. He was educated at Ripton Grammar School, Rugby and Christ Church, Oxford, where he later worked as an academic.
