(Redirected from Learner’s)

A learner is a person who undergoes the psychological process of learning a skill or knowledge.[1]

A foreign language learner is one engaged in learning a foreign language; an English language learner (ELL) is one engaged in learning English (either as a first or second language), whereas an EFL learner is specifically one learning EFL.

A student is a type of learner, particularly one enrolled in a school.[2]

Important issues for learners include learner affect, learner autonomy and learner dependency, learner beliefs, learner goals and learner interests, learner motivation, learner needs, etc[3].

Teaching should be learner-centred. Learner training increases autonomy.
