Julie

From Teflpedia

Julie (/ˈʤu:li:/) is the pseudonym used in a case study of language acquisition. Julie was a British woman who emigrated to Egypt aged 21 and acquired Egyptian Arabic to near-native like proficiency.[1] This provides some evidence against the critical period hypothesis, though there is also the suggestion that Julie was an outlier, and although she was an adult she was a young adult.
