International English

From Teflpedia

This article has been marked for accuracy. Please see the talk page.

Of the many Englishes spoken and used all over the world, International English, also known as Global English, is the latest in a long line of attempts to simplify the English language and aim towards the cultural neutrality of world English.

These constructed languages include Ogden’s Basic English in the late 1920s-early 1930s and the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s modern-day airline English.[1]
