Intermediate (/ˌɪn.tə(r)ˈmi:.dɪət/) is a language proficiency level.
The Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) attempts to provide some standardization to the question. Using this scale “Intermediate" would be equivalent to “B2”, “Vantage" level.
