Interlanguage pragmatics

Interlanguage pragmatics is a branch of second-language research.[1] According to Kasper (1992), it "studies how non-native speakers (NNS) understand and carry out linguistic action in a target language, and how they acquire L2 pragmatic knowledge".[1]
