Frequency adverbial

From Teflpedia

A frequency adverbial is a time adverbial that expresses frequency. In English, there are two types of these; frequency adverb phrases and frequency noun phrase adverbials. They also cover both types of frequency; definite frequency and indefinite frequency.

A frequency adverb phrase is an adverb phrase with a frequency adverb as its head. This may be a single-word phrase, in which case it’s simply a frequency adverb.

Secondly, noun phrase adverbials can also be used as frequency adverbials, e.g. "every day,” or "once a week.”
