Film

From Teflpedia

A film is work of visual art that simulates experiences and otherwise communicates ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty, or atmosphere through the use of moving images.[1]

Films are often made in English, and watching films can be a source of comprehensible input for students. Understanding films can also be a motivating factor to learn English, and discussing films can be a great discussion topic for practising speaking. We often use the passive voice to talk about films, e.g. Reservoir Dogs was directed by Quentin Tarantino.
