Exclamation mark

From Teflpedia

An exclamation mark or ! is a punctuation mark. It is commonly used after an interjection or exclamation to indicate strong feelings or high volume, or to show emphasis, and often marks the end of a sentence, for example: “Watch out!”[1]

!

In the International Phonetic Alphabet, the exclamation mark is used as an IPA symbol to represents a oral click, which is not something that is needed to represent English.
