Deictic pronoun

A deictic pronoun is a pronoun whose referent must be fixed through deixis.
In English, there are two types:
With reference to place (spatial deixis):
- place pronouns (here, and there)
- demonstrative pronouns (this, that, these, those)
With reference to time (temporal deixis):
- deictic temporal pronouns (yesterday, today, tonight, tomorrow)
