Degree of regularity

From Teflpedia

Degree of regularity or simply regularity when used in an non-count sense, is the degree to which a language item is regular.

Regularity is a spectrum presented as a dichotomy.

Regularity ranges can be described with phrases like "completely regular", "nearly regular", "slightly irregular", "very irregular", "semi-regular", "completely irregular". It's possible that linguists have tried to quantify this.
