Definite noun phrase

From Teflpedia

A definite noun phrase is a determined noun phrase whose head is a noun with definiteness.

For example "the park" in “We will go to the park.”

These typically use the definite article. However, they may use dependent possessive determiners instead. For example, "my cat" in “I’m taking my cat to see the vet.”.
