Curricular time

Curricular time is the time allocated within a curriculum. In a school for childen, this will be typically allocated to various school subjects. In non-English-speaking countries, one of these school subjects may well be English as a foreign language.
The curricular time for an MFL worldwide is probably in the order of 2.5-3 hours per week. Yet this may not be enough to achieve desired progress, and hence the CLIL approach.
