Community language

From Teflpedia

A community language is a language spoken by members of minority groups or communities within a majority language context.[1] It is a term used in preference to terms like “immigrant language”, “ethnic language” or “mother language”.

Note that the term community language learning usually doesn’t refer to learning a community language, but to methodology.
