CELTYL is an acronym for the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Young Learners. Since January 2011 it is called YL (young learner) extension to CELTA. It is one of the University of Cambridge TEFL Qualifications.

It was an initial qualification for people with little or no previous teaching experience and is aimed at those wishing to teach younger students.

This certificate was discontinued in December 2016. It is replaced by TKT: Young Learners.
