A building address is a hierarchical description of the location of a building, or sublocation within a building.
When giving addresses in English we tend to start off small and get bigger. e.g. "1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500, USA.” In China and possibly other cultures however they do things the other way round, so don’t be totally surprised if a student gives their own address "the wrong way round.”
Beginner students should be able to give their home address in English as part of their personal details.
