From Teflpedia

An anagram (/ˈænəgræm/) is a word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase, typically using all the original letters exactly once. For example, the word anagram can be restructured into "nag a gran".[1]

Anagrams can be used as word puzzles. Be careful though; remember to check whether the target word is also an anagram of another word or words.

Anagrams can be used to elicit vocabulary, however anagrams do not contribute context.

The best way to solve anagrams is to write the letters in a circle[2]
