Aigh is an English vowel tetragraph.

aigh is mostly found in the word straight, plus derived compounds such as straightforward. It can be considered a variation on eigh. Like eigh, it represents the diphthong /eɪ/. Other words tend to be obscure Scots words, e.g. laigh, quaigh, scraigh.[1]
