Noun phrase adverbial
From Teflpedia
A noun phrase adverbial or adverbial noun phrase is a noun phrase that functions as an adverbial.
A good example would be "every day", as in “I get up at 7 o’clock every day", in which the NP functions as a frequency adverbial.
There are two main types (I think):
- A time point noun phrase adverbial expresses a time point, e.g. "tomorrow", "next week.”
- A definite frequency noun phrase adverbial expresses definite frequency, e.g. "twice a week.”
