{-able} is an English adjective suffix, sometimes spelt as -ible.[1]

{-able} relates to ability. For example, something accessible can be accessed, and squeezable can be squeezed.

The concepts are generally nominalised with -ity, i.e. to -ability or -ibility to refer to a quality of the noun. They are zero nominalised as meaning “something that can be,” e.g. a printable means “a thing that can be printed,” a photocopiable means “a thing that can be photocopied,” etc.
