⟨aur⟩
From Teflpedia
⟨aur⟩ is a vowel trigraph that occurs in English.
Words with this spelling are mainly put into the ɴᴏʀᴛʜ lexical set, such as aura, aural, Laura, Taurus, and so pronounced with the ɴᴏʀᴛʜ vowel phoneme. However, aurora is in the ꜰᴏʀᴄᴇ lexical set, which is also pronounced with the ɴᴏʀᴛʜ vowel phoneme in most accents with the ɴᴏʀᴛʜ–ꜰᴏʀᴄᴇ merger.
Other words include centaur. And there are lots of dinosaurs which have names ending ⟨-saur⟩, e.g. ichthyosaur, plesiosaur, pterosaur, etc.
English speakers with rhotic accents pronounce the final R; those with non‑rhotic accents don’t unless there’s a linking /r/.
