The TEFL Tradesman is a blog run by Sandy McManus [1].

The blog takes a highly irreverent look at the English Teaching profession, and promotes itself as "The heavy-drinking Tefler's answer to ETProfessional". It is designed to both inform and entertain, and focuses its barbed verbal attacks on the 'unholy trinity' of rogue employers, teachers' poor salaries and working conditions, and on some of the least desirable aspects of having to work with odd colleagues. It also takes an highly satirical and unorthodox approach to some of the more extreme practices that pass themselves off as teaching methodology and classroom techniques in the modern world of the 'TEFL Trade'.
