A redirect is used to redirect one potential article name to another existing one.
They are set up as:
#REDIRECT [[nnnnnn]]
where "nnnnn" is the name of the article you wish the redirect to point to.
For instance:
| England | redirects to | Britain |
| Scotland | redirects to | Britain |
| United Kingdom | redirects to | Britain |
| UK | redirects to | Britain |
If you enter England in the search box and hit Go you are taken to Britain. Underneath the title are the words "(Redirected from England)". The actual Redirect page can be reached by clicking on the link in this notice.
